Summer Chinese Studies Programs
Silk Road Start has organized short-term programs on 4 University campuses in Xi’an’s Southern University City District. Many students first want to get a taste of China before pursuing long-term work and study. After participating in one of our summer programs many will want to come back for more. Our standard Short-Term Group program is called “China Crash Course”.
China Crash Course
Our China Crash Course is designed to help foreign students develop more meaningful relationships with Chinese people. Each day our teachers use fun interactive activities to teach important aspects of Chinese history and culture and basic Chinese survival phrases. Our program is organized around 4 major culture themes and content is designed to be adaptable for programs from 4 days to 4 weeks.

- Dragon Boat Festival Celebrations
Organized Tours
We help organize tours for short term groups to see famous sites around Xi’an. In the past these tours included:
- The Terracotta Warriors
- The Big Goose Pagoda
- Hua Mountain
- Bell Tower Hui Street
- Biking on Xi’an’s Ancient City Wall
